FATHERS' Day was ruined for a Watford family when pet cat Ziggy vanished without a trace.
Owner Mrs Jenny Barratt was devastated after discovering the small tortoiseshell feline, which was adopted by the family a few weeks after birth, had gone missing.
She said: "My other cat is in a very sorry state without Ziggy.
"She is very friendly and could have gone off with someone but she would have come back.
"The family had been out for Fathers' Day (June 16) and she wasn't there when we got home."
The three-year-old cat, which was wearing a black leather collar with three gold stars on it, lived in Yarmouth Road, north Watford.
Anyone with information on Ziggy's whereabouts should call Mrs Barratt on 01923 247326 or 07814883409.
