The new bus lane over Kew Bridge has caused more problems than it has solved, Richmond's GLA member told the Commissioner for London Transport this week.
Cllr Tony Arbour has written to Bob Kiley asking him to end the experimental bus lane on Kew Bridge following numerous complaints from motorists.
He said: "It is already evident that the bus lane has created more problems than it has solved. It is causing delay and disruption to Kew residents and there is no reason to suppose that were the experiment to continue for the full six months that disruption would be lessened.
"Accordingly it would make sense for the experiment to be ended forthwith."
