A free safety book for recreational users of the Thames has been compiled in preparation for the summer season.
The 47-page booklet, which is published by the Port of London Authority (PLA), includes rules and advice on safety procedures, communication and water sport regulations.
The Thames is a busy commercial waterway and is popular for water sport enthusiasts. Geoff Adam from PLA said: "It's important recreational users understand the need for safety."
