A CLUBBER was jailed for seven years after raping a woman who collapsed at his flat in a drunken stupor.
Martin Dunn, aged 35, of Stephen's Close, Beckenham, took the woman to his home after chatting her up at Biba's nightclub, in Widmore Road, Bromley.
But as she slept off her drunken stupor, Dunn climbed on top of the woman and raped her, the Old Bailey heard on July 5.
Several women had told the court Dunn was a "courteous gentleman" but they were unable to convince the jury he had not raped her.
Sentancing Dunn, Judge Simon Goldstein said the crime was "horrific".
He added: "Although she consumed an almighty amount of alcohol, she did not deserve to suffer the fate she did.
"You took advantage of a totally drunk, virtually unconscious girl when you were not affected by alcohol."
His family screamed and wept as he was led away to the cells.
During the trial, the jury heard how Dunn and the girl got chatting at the nightclub on July 22, last year.
Prosecutor Lisa Matthews said: "At the end of the night, she went back to Dunn's flat. She was so drunk she does not even remember arriving there.
"But she does remember waking up in excruciating pain. She was on her front and was aware of violent movements behind her."
Dunn sobbed as he was handed his sentance.
