ARMED raiders wearing ski masks made off with £4,000 after robbing a newsagents in Whitton early on Sunday morning.
The 48-year-old manager of Balfour Newsagents on the High Street, opened the shop's rear door at 6am on June 30th and was faced with two men who produced guns.
They entered the shop and made off with cigarettes, scratch cards, phone cards, stamps and cash.
The suspects are described as white, 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build. They were wearing ski masks with holes cut for eyes, dressed in dark clothes and gloves.
The police are also seeking information on two cars seen around the area at the same time. The cars, one white and one red were seen in convoy making off at high speed at the same location at the same time, although they are not necessarily connected.
