SPECIALLY brewed beers and Kentish wines will be available at a Real Ale Festival taking place in Dartford from July 12 to 14.

The sixth annual festival is taking place in Central Park in aid of the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, which helps injured firefighters and the families of firefighters who have died.

Among the 100 ales on offer will be Fireman's Chopper, brewed by Bass Museum Brewery, Old Fireman's Lift, brewed by the Flagship Brewery and Tinder Box, brewed by Swale Brewery. Meopham Valley Wines and ciders will also be available.

The festival is organised by Dartford Fire Station and has managed to raise more than £45,000 for charity since it started.

The festival will cost £3 to enter, which will include a commerorative glass to keep.

It will be held on July 12 from noon to 10.30pm, on July 13, from 11am to 10.30pm and on July 14, from noon to 10pm.
