WILMINGTON Hall pupils are celebrating the opening of a £1m performing arts and humanities block.
It means children at the secondary school, in Common Lane, will have the chance to study GCSE and A-level drama courses.
Deputy headteacher Steve Cook, who is also moving his office into the new block, said: "It will open up new opportunities for us. We now have a dedicated drama studio for tuition and small performances."
The two-storey block, built with Kent County Council money, has a music room, three art rooms, a multi-media suite and darkroom facilities.
There will be classes for geography, history and religious education.
