RACIAL harmony and cultural diversity were top of the agenda at a major music and fun-filled festival in Plumstead.
The anti-racist festival drew in numerous bands, including garage stars Distant Soundz, R&B band Dark Roses as well as Asian music and Romanian folk stars.
Jazz man Byron Wallen and his band Indigo played during the afternoon. Their performance was a tribute to young victims of racial violence.
Apart from the masses of music there were food and craft stalls, an under-fives play area and a sporting arena, which gave youngsters the chance to play five-a-side football with Charlton Athletic FC.
As well as the festivities, Greenwich Council ran a number of marquees which gave residents a chance to find out more about regeneration and neighbourhood renewal, as well as fostering opportunities in the borough.
