AS the admittedly imperfect protection of the Redbridge Lane West gate in Wanstead has been withdrawn, we face a summer of noise, pollution and health problems. We face a dangerous summer, too, as the commuters driving through ignore speed limits as if they did not exist.
On Friday June 28, 604 vehicles used Overton Drive in one hour between 8am and 9am.
