YOUNG dancers have tapped and jived their way to over £2,000 during a charity fundraiser.
Members of Epping Forest School of Dancing performed two shows to raise the money, which has been split between the Tymes Trust, which cares for children with ME, and Little Haven Children's Hospice.
About 60 dancers, aged between three and 19, put on two performances of a two-hour dance show that included tap, ballet and disco dancing.
The shows were held at Rainsford School, Chelmsford, and a combined audience of 600 parents and supporters watched them.
School principal Josie Stripple was thrilled with the hard work the dancers put in, adding they had been rehearsing for around six months. The members are now working towards their forthcoming dance exams.
The club has classes on Saturday mornings at the Jack Silley Pavilion, Epping, between 9am and 1.30pm.
