Daphne du Maurier's classic Rebecca is the next chilling instalment of the Murder Mystery season at the Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon. It runs from Tuesday, July 16, to Saturday, July 20.
As the new, nervous bride to the dashing Maxim, Mrs de Winter arrives at the beautiful Cornish mansion which is to be her new home. But the past is ever present.
How did Maxim's first wife, the beautiful Rebecca, meet her death? What is the secret held by the sinister housekeeper Mrs Danvers? And who is the mysterious Jack Flavell?
It's a fascinating story of love, intrigue and passion. Performances are at 7.45pm nightly with matinees on Wednesday at 2.30pm and Saturday at 3pm.
