AS a driver for work and pleasure I am fully aware of the inconvienience of speed humps.
Enfield Council has deemed it fit to place humps in roads adjacent to my home in St Peter's Road.
I am very surprised the authority never thought of placing them in St Peter's Road as it is used as a regular rat run by motorists who tear down the road as if it was the straight at Silverstone.
As Eldon Road School has one of its entrances in this road, wouldn't it have been wise to place the speed bumps around the school entrance, thereby preventing an accident that is just waiting to happen?
MR HAWKER,
St Peter's Road,
