Croydon's Whitgift School will be playing at Headingley Cricket ground on Thursday, July 11, playing Hymers College, Hull in the finals of the Calypso Cricket Cup.
The 35-over match will be the culmination of two years of games in which teams from more than 1,200 schools played through a series of county, regional and national rounds.
Whitgift, who won the Calypso Cup in 1998 and reached the semi-finals in 2000, will be fielding a side captained by 13-year-old Lewis Foster, whose one-man stand of 32 not out helped his side to victory over Magdalen College, Oxford, in the south regional Final.
