A BABY was trapped in a car for about 90 minutes after playing with the keys and locking herself in the vehicle.
Firefighters were called just after 7pm on Tuesday to free the child from the Audi parked in The Squirrels, Bushey, after she activated the car's automatic locking system.
The child, aged 12 to 18 months, had been in the car for more than an hour, but was playing happily when the crew arrived. She was eventually freed by an RAC mechanic, who overrode the high-tech electronics.
A spokesman for Garston fire station said: "She was as happy as a lamb. If she had been in any distress we would have broken a window to get her out."
