A raft of borough charities and voluntary bodies gave Sutton shoppers a taste of what they had to offer in a town centre management group event recently.
The community day gave many groups the chance to set up stalls in the town square and preach their message to passers-by.
Those on show included the Dr Bike team from two-wheel club Cyclism, who gave safety checks to passing riders, and the local branch of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease (NACC).
The NACC was looking to raise awareness into the two conditions as part of Colitis and Crohn's Week.
