More than 500 past pupils and staff of Rosebery School, in Epsom, filled the school hall for a reunion on Saturday.
There were cries of surprise as ex-students and staff recognised faces from the past and almost everyone brought old photographs and reports with them from their schooldays.
Chris Sharp, reunion organiser, said: "It was a fantastic day with so many faces. Far more people turned up than we were expecting. Everyone enjoyed a tour around the school and were pleased to see the main building was still intact but were also very impressed with the new blocks that have been added since their day."
There has been a girls' secondary school in White Horse Drive for 75 years.
