RAY LEWINGTON favours the passing game, but believes in vigorous and tenacious play, winning the ball back as early as possible.
"I like to pass but I am not long ball. I like to win it back early but to keep the ball on the deck. I love goalmouth action but not just pumping the ball into the box.
"I like competitive players. When we lose possession, I want us to get it back as early as possible, and that involves everyone: the number nine or number two. They have to put their foot in," said the 45-year-old.
