Anyone wanting to take part in the 2002 Environmental Fair should get in touch soon to sign up their support.
Organised by a dedicated group of volunteers, the fair, which is now in its 11th year, kicks off on bank holiday Monday, August 26, at 10.30am.
It provides a perfect opportunity for residents of all ages to meet local charities and organisations and learn about environmental issues.
A host of musical entertainment is also on offer including a main stage for rock music, a Music Caf presented by Sutton Acoustic Music Club and a performing arts marquee for other acts.
There will be more than a hundred stalls and displays, food and drink and activities for children.
Potential performers are welcome to send demo tapes as soon as possible to The Environmental Fair Collective, c/o The Old School House, Carshalton SM5 2JY.
For those wanting to take space as stallholders or to volunteer, call Helene on 020 8647 9201.
