Esher captain Jan Bonney has been the only squad member not to enjoy a long summer recovery from the exertions of last season's National League Division Two campaign.
Bonney has just returned from a tour of Chile with the English Counties, who won all three of their matches and rounded off their trip with a game against the Chilean national side.
Bonney was selected from a squad of 27 to play against the host nation and Esher manager Dave Page said: "It is a marvellous honour for the club and, of course, for Jan to be selected at this level. He did himself proud."
Bonney will now take a well earned rest before returning to train with the rest of the Esher squad, who begin their pre-season preparations on Monday.
Training sessions next season will be put back to Thursdays in order to allow the players more recovery time between matches and Page is keen to recruit new talent.
"Somewhere in Surrey there is a potential star," he said. "Now is their chance to come and play for the most senior club in the Home Counties."
