Two schools in Sutton have been recognised for their commitment to providing a quality sports and after school hours activity programme. Representatives from Cheam High School and Glenthorne High School (pictured above with Matt Delaney (left), Jimmy Adams and John Emburey) travelled to Lords Cricket Ground to receive their Sportsmark Award from West Indian cricket captain Jimmy Adams and former England team member John Emburey. Organised by Sport England, the award is open to all secondary schools in the UK and aims to commend schools that appreciate the value of physical activity and include sport into school life.
