Sutton hosted a regional conference for council tenants and landlords to discuss common problems and share solutions recently.
It was held at Sutton's Civic Centre as part of a national initiative to get tenants and landlords to talk about their experiences and success they have had in tackling anti-social behaviour.
It was organised by the social landlords crime and nuisance group and chaired by Lib Dem Councillor Lord Graham Tope.
Speakers from the borough highlighted Sutton's success at working in partnership with the police, neighbourhood wardens and other groups in dealing with crime.
Tenants were also able to attend workshops dealing with hate crime and anti-social behaviour.
Sutton's chief executive for head of housing Peter Dolan said: "It was a challenge to host such a high profile conference but a rewarding one for tenants and leaseholders, who I'm sure benefited enormously from being able to discuss common issues and realise they have had similar experiences."
