An Inland Revenue service giving advice about tax and related matters has launched at Clapham Junction job centre.
Callers to the centre in Falcon Road can get advice on tax and national insurance contributions, as well as accessing the customer service functions of the new Jobcentre Plus.
Inland Revenue staff will be on hand to answer questions on a trial basis every Thursday from 10am until 3pm.
Caroline Addison, area director for the Inland Revenue in south west London, said: "This is a new venture for us and the aim is to provide improved access to expert advice on a range of government services in a location which suits the customer.
"We are looking forward to receiving feedback about this initiative from customers using the centre."
For more information about the service phone Anita Soba on 020 8843 7680.
