LEYTON MP Harry Cohen has praised the 'outstanding' talent of the young artists of Connaught School.
Mr Cohen visited the art exhibition of paintings at the Epicentre in Leyton last week.
He was given a guided tour of the work by two of the school pupil artists. Nearly fifty children have exhibited their paintings, which has a family -connection theme.
During their time painting, the students were helped with ideas and painting techniques by Connaught School's 'artist-in-residence' Ron Pickering.
Harry Cohen praised the pupil's work as 'outstanding'. Lots of colour, interesting composition, and high-quality design patterns.
"This exhibition was a lot better than a number of professional ones I have seen.
"These Connaught girl artists plainly have a lot of talent and I hope that they will develop it further for the future."
