A MULTI-SENSORY Studio, designed to help children suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy, is to be made available in Walthamstow this summer.
MS Action, Billet Road, Walthamstow, will be offering use of the studio every Wednesday during the summer holidays to support adults and children with neuological conditions.
The studio has been designed for children with one or more sensory impairments. It complements educational development in a relaxing and stimulating environment.
The studio offers: a bubble tube with colour selection, a lava lamp, fibre-optic ceiling tiles, a vibrating massage mattress, an aromatherapy diffuser, textured wall boards and soft cushioning.
The space is often used to help children relax before and after using other therapies provided at the centre.
The Sensory Studio is available for individual or group use for a modest donation.
