JEWISH Care has combined its call centre and and help desk and created a new service called Jewish Care Direct.
The organisation provides health and social care services for the Jewish community.
Simon Morris, director of community services, said: "We aim to provide a quick response to high-risk referrals, as well as offering an expanded advice and information service to our customers. Our goal is to act as a signpost and to point people in the right direction of the appropriate help whether through Jewish Care's own services, other organisations or local authorities."
The charity's local resources include Sinclair House community centre, Vi and John Rubens House, a residential home, The Dennis Centre and the Mitkadem Centre.
The new number is 8922 2222.
