Stanmore 228-8dec Winchmore Hill 232-2
Middlesex County League Division One
Sachem Patel got Stanmore out of trouble with a magnificent 130 not out in a seventh-wicket stand of 101 with Prassad (44), after their innings had stumbled to 84-6.
But the visitors occupied the crease for 70 overs, and their score of 228-8 proved 50 runs too few.
Winchmore Hill cruised to victory at 232-2 (Dave Bowen 102no, Saleem Mohammed 84) in 52 overs. They leapfrogged over Stanmore, who fell back into the bottom two.
Stanmore continued their progress in the National Cup with a four-wicket sixth-round home win over Hastings on Sunday.
