MEMBERS of the Watford branch of the Parkinson's Disease Society went up river in July on a Thames river trip.
The group travelled by coach from Watford to Runnymede and boarded the Queen of the River Thames riverboat.
Despite inclement weather, they enjoyed a trip up the river passing through the renovated Old Windsor Lock taking in views of Windsor Castle and Eton College.
The branch meets the first Thursday in the month at 30 Church Road, Watford, starting at 7pm. The next outing is on Wednesday, August 7, with a visit to Frithsden Vineyard near Hemel Hempstead.
