BATON: The Queen's Jubilee baton is pictured being carried through the streets of Bexley on its way to Manchester for the opening of the Commonwealth Games. The baton, which has been carried through 23 Commonwealth countries, contains a message from the Queen, which she will read when she opens the Games on July 25. The baton relay set off from Buckingham Palace on March 9 and has been carried by athletes, celebrities and ordinary people.
