A CURRY-HOUSE in Lee has been shut down after its owner ignored environmental health officers' warnings.
The Indian Summer restaurant, in Burnt Ash Hill, will be closed until further notice after owner Syed Ahmed was prosecuted for 14 offences under the 1980 Food Safety Act.
Ahmed was not fined but told to pay £9,000 costs to Lewisham Council by Marylebone magistrates on July 8.
The restaurant will not be allowed to reopen until the faults are remedied.
