At the Ashcroft Theatre it's a case of murder in the whodunnit 'Suddenly At Home' from Tuesday, July 23 to Saturday, July 27.
This second spine chilling play, in the Murder Mystery Season, by Francis Durbridge is a taut and devious thriller with a murder plot that's pure genius.
Glen Howard and his rich wife Maggie appear to be a devoted couple whose happiness is only marred by his concern about her fits of depression and her desire to retire to Bermuda.
When Maggie is murdered the most likely suspect appears to be her former lover, detective story writer Sam Blaine, but the shocks and surprises come thick and fast as the mystery is unravelled.
Performances of all plays are at 7.45pm nightly with matinees on Wednesday at 2.30pm and Saturday at 3pm. Tickets, priced from £8.50 to £13, are available from the box office on 020 8688 9291.
