The youth of today come under fire for many reasons. Teenagers with all the problems and pressures of our modern age have a tough time growing up.
The Warehouse Theatre's youth company CRYPT (Croydon Young People's Theatre) present Refuge at the Dingwall Road theatre on July 26 and 27.
Personalities clash, friendships develop, conflicts arise at the Refuge, a hostel that represents a place of safety for a group of disparate and displaced young people.
Each has their own reason for seeking refuge from the outside world and all have their own stories to tell and secrets to keep.
This is apiece of new theatre, created entirely by the group. It incorporates many of the skills and theatre techniques that they have been introduced to throughout the year. CRYPT is for 13 - 16 year olds who work with Youth Leader Suzy Catliff.
Tickets are £6. Performance times are 7pm on Friday, July 26 and 4pm and 7pm on Saturday, July 27.
Call the Warehouse box office on 020 8680 4060.
