Talented youngsters delighted audiences at Stanley Halls, South Norwood last week. Performers from the Helen

O'Grady Academy staged five plays at the venue from July 8 to July 11. All the academy's year groups were represented.

The group with eight to 12 year olds presented Storyland featuring well known characters from popular children's stories.

Principal of the academy said: "At Helen O'Grady it's not just the acting or performing, we try to give our students confidence and life skills."

It's certainly a recipe for success as the academy has flourished and now has 13 centres in the UK.
