I wish to make a correction to your statement in the Golden Jubilee Visit to Addington Palace, (July 10, 2002).
In the who's who of Croydon's guests invited to the lunch, you stated my name, but said it was Mrs Barbara Frost who sat next to His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh. This was an error on your paper's part as it was myself who sat next to HRH.
I am not being petty on this, but having told so many of my Veterans and friends who I sat next to, plus it has gone in our NVA Newsletter, I do not want them to think I am telling lies.
