Three more league wins will land Wimbledon the Castle Lager Surrey Championship title, according to vice-captain Jon Wileman.
Another comfortable victory over Sunbury last weekend saw the Dons increase their lead over second-placed Guildford to 29 points and Wileman believes his side definitely have the upperhand in the run-in, writes Mike Simmonds.
"After a great start to the season, we lost a couple of games, but still feel we are in extremely good shape," he said.
"We are never complacent going into games, but we are very confident.
"It will be difficult against Cheam this weekend, but if we can win our next three matches we will be in a very strong position for the remainder of the season."
Wimbledon strolled to a 79-run victory over Sunbury on Saturday as a captain's innings of 58 by Wileman, and a half cen-tury from Sam Andrews, saw the home side reach 259.
Ronnie Kothamp was the pick of the Dons' bowlers as Sunbury chased and he sent the first four batsman back to the pavilion as the visitors failed to get to grips with the target.
Wileman was delighted with the performance and said: "It was an enjoyable game because we were put in on a pitch that we thought would do a little bit. It was solid all round display every batsman chipped in and the bowling was excellent."
