Hercules Wimbledon's senior athletes grabbed the spotlight this week when they won their first Southern League match for 14 months at Walton.
Team captain Royden John fully recovered from the hamstring injury which forced him to miss the previous match at Great Yarmouth, where his side finished last led from the front, competing in eight events and winning four.
His took the A 400m hurdles in 59.6 seconds, the A sprint hurdles A (15.4 secs), the B 100m (11.5 secs) and the B long jump B (6.52m).
He was also second in the B triple jump B, third in the B pole vault and fourth in the B 200m.
John would have scored even more points in the sprint relay, but the team was disqualified for a faulty change-over.
Sprinter Fred Agyarko, in his first appearance for the team for three seasons, won the A 200m in 23.3 secs and was second in the A 100m in 11.2 secs.
Christian de Jager came second in the long jump, triple jump and high jump, and won the B sprint hurdles in 15.4 seconds.
Another winner was Steve Davies, who shared the honours in the B high jump. He was also third in the 400m.
Tom Kennedy and Craig Farr finished second in the A and B 800m and Kennedy then finished third in the steeplechase.
Supervet John Fenge set a club over-50 record of 10.23m for the shot to finish second in the B competition.
He was also second in the A hammer and third in the B discus.
The club competes in the third of this season's Lily B Girls' League matches at Aldershot on Saturday and in the final National Boys' Young Athletes League meeting at Brighton on Sunday.
