Croydon is looking to implement a community alarms scheme giving older residents the opportunity to live in their own homes for as long as possible with the reassurance of rapid access to emergency support.
The alarm system will be available to all tenants of the council's sheltered housing schemes, anyone who is assessed by Care Managers as benefiting from the service and others who seek re-assurance to remain at home.
