It has been carried for almost 59,000 miles and eventually arrived in Streatham on Saturday, July 13.
The Queen's Jubilee baton has been passed between hundreds of runners in 23 different countries on its way to Manchester, where its arrival will ignite the Commonwealth Games later this month.
Streatham's Stacey Hovlerson, of Dunraven School, was given the honour of carrying the baton through part of the town, along Crown Dale, past Streatham Common and along Ambleside Avenue.
Stacey, 14, has represented Lambeth at cross country and last year was London's 1500m champion for Year Eights.
Lambeth Mayor June Fewtrell made an early start to cheer Stacey on as the baton arrived in Streatham.
"I'm delighted that Lambeth is able to play its part in the run-up to the Games in Jubilee year," she said.
