Morden Library is closing for up to a week from today to prepare the library for installation of new computer equipment.

Merton is investing £326,000 in the People's Network, 114 free public access computers in the borough's seven libraries and Heritage Centre, and the work on the library is the first stage of this project. A book drop service will operate for members of the public who want to return items while the library is closed. Fines will be waived for the closure period.
