THE royal baton passed through the borough of Bromley on its Jubilee tour.
The baton, headed for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, was picked up at Chislehurst Caves by Bromley Excellence in Sport winner Richard Smith, 15.
The champion acrobat carried the torch-shaped baton towards Bexley.
The baton contains a speech, which the Queen will read at the opening of the games. It has been carried by althletes through all the commonwealth countries.
