AN ELTHAM carnival aimed at promoting cultural diversity was attended by thousands of people.
Carnival 365, now in its third year, was held at Eltham Green School, in Middle Park Avenue, and included something for everyone.
Events ranged from fashion shows and live music to pearly kings and queens and a chance to meet Charlton Athletic players.
There were also stalls offering a wide range of food, arts and crafts, clothes and advice.
Cabinet member for social justice and inclusion Councillor Clive Mardner said: "It was a fantastic day. People of all ages and from all sections of the community had a wonderful time in the glorious sunshine."
The community festival is organised by the Care Partnership, a borough-wide initiative led by Greenwich Council and Charlton Athletic, which helps to promote cultural diversity and a safer environment.
