An elderly woman was robbed of her savings soon after withdrawing them from a bank on Southall Broadway.
The 62-year-old victim had just withdrawn £600 and was walking home through Alfred Gardens when she suddenly became aware of two men following her so she began to walk faster.
One of the men grabbed her from behind and put his hand over her mouth and snatched her bag. The second man took the woman's gold chain before running off. The woman was badly shaken but unhurt.
The first attacker is described as black, 17 years old, 5ft 6ins tall and of thin build. He was wearing blue trousers. The second robber was also black, 18 years old, 5ft 5ins tall and wearing a green jacket and white cap.
