TWENTY new full and part-time jobs will be created when the refurbished and extended Wheatsheaf pub in Crooked Mile, Waltham Abbey, re-opens on Monday, September 2.
The new-look 90-seat pub will have no-smoking areas and facilities for children and will also cater for customers who are disabled.
The brook behind the pub has been re-routed to create more space for the extensions and parking and to allow for decking and a children's play area.
Tony and Jane Milne have been appointed licensees after managing the Lord Kitchener pub in Barnet for four-and-a-half years.
