WATFORD, hit by suspensions, injuries and the international call-up of Heidar Helguson, will have to field a make-shift side against Grimsby on Saturday, October 12.
Marcus Gayle is missing with a groin injury, while Micah Hyde and Paul Robinson serve a one-match suspension.
Helguson is on duty for Iceland and manager Ray Lewington is keeping his fingers crossed that Sean Dyche and Tommy Smith will pass fitness tests.
"We also have Jamie Hand and Macca (Anthony McNamee) playing for England Under-19's on Thursday night," said the manager. "Heidar is out of the picture; Marcus Gayle won't be fit and we are hopeful with regard to Tommy Smith and Sean Dyche."
