Thirty cyclists braved seven 1,000m mountain climbs during five days in China to raise more than £100,000 for Trinity Hospice, Clapham.
The fundraisers have been so inspired by their success they have organised the Nile Cycle Challenge this October and the Trinity Trek to Cuba early in 2004. Following this, there is a Mexican rural Yucatan trail for the cultural cyclist and later in 2004 the ultimate running challenge, Run Of Your Life, again in China.
Trinity Hospice, at Clapham Common Northside helps more than 1,400 patients with advanced non-curable illnesses every year.
