A couple from Mitcham have spent years searching for anyone who can profit from their old birthday and Christmas cards.
Singer and skiffle musician Wee Willie Harris and his wife are over-run with cards saved for recycling.
The couple, who live in St George's Road, have well over 100 and do not know what to do with them. They say even charity shops do not seem interested.
Mr Harris said: "We used to give them to the post office but they don't take them any more. We want to make sure the cards are recycled."
