One of the seven men arrested during a police raid at the Finsbury Park mosque in north London will appear in court today.
Samir Asli, 29 of St Thomas Road, Finsbury Park, is due to appear at Bow Street Magistrates Court on the Terrorism Act 2000 charge of possessing articles for terrorist purposes.
A second man arrested during last Monday's raid is still being questioned on suspicion of terrorism-related offences.
Four others are in custody for suspected immigration offences and one has been released.
The mosque remains closed to worshippers since police completed the search of the premises on Thursday.
