DETECTIVES hunting two bogus minicab drivers who raped a 28-year-old woman have released this picture of the car they may have used.
Police believe it is likely to be the attackers' car leaving the scene of the vicious assault, in Beckenham, at 1.30am, on December 5.
They have DNA evidence but, despite appeals in News Shopper, no witnesses have come forward.
Detective Constable Nigel Chater wants to trace the car, captured here on CCTV.
He said: "This vehicle is in the exactly right area at the right time. Even if it is a witness, it is vital we speak to the driver."
The woman got what she thought was a cab near Bar Flux, in Southend Road, Beckenham, but got out in Hayes Lane, when one of the men tried to assault her.
A short time later, the woman, who was drunk, got back into the car, unaware it was the same one.
The men, described as mixed race or eastern European, took her to Hawksbrook Lane, where she was raped and sexually assaulted and then drove away.
Anyone with information should call Det Con Chater on 020 8284 8774. Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
