WINSTON Churchill's former home in Westerham is in the spotlight again after the recent Golden Globe awards.
At the awards ceremony in America recently, the television film about the wartime Prime Minister's life, The Gathering Storm, picked up two gongs to add to last year's Emmy.
The programme, much of which was shot at the now National Trust-owned Chartwell, won best TV film and star Albert Finney won best TV actor for his portrayal of Churchill.
Chartwell's property manager Carole Kenwright said: "It's wonderful to see Chartwell appearing on our screens so often."
The house and gardens re-open on March 23.
