NOW'S your chance to slay Orcs by recreating the adventures of the first two Lord of the Rings movies.

Over 100 levels of action, fighting, puzzles and monsters will make this game a bit more challenging than average RPG-style fighting games.

The game gives you the opportunity to hack at cave trolls, ringwraiths and even uruk-hai (warrior orcs).

To improve your chosen character you can upgrade his weapons, armour and shoes (for speed) that you either find on dead enemies or buy with gems you get from (that's right) dead enemies.

Even when you sneak around a corner you can eavesdrop on Orcs' conversations and hear them give vital information or just hear them call themselves names like Pig- Breath.

Dangers and obstacles litter every level so you've got to be quick or Sauron will triumph.

Gamespan has over 100 levels to offer which, of course, keep you playing for weeks on end, and with thousands of enemies your mission won't be easy.

The multiplayer option will add depth and fun for replay value.

The gameplay is very easy to pick up and graphics are pleasing with nice touches although, disappointingly, the faces on the people and creatures are little more than a smudge.

Overall a pleasing game which offers a variety of options and modes which will make any LOTR fan happy.
