PUT the pedal to the metal. Time to lay some rubber on tarmac. Burnout 2 is here. This tremendous sequel will satisfy the delights of petrolheads everywhere.
No tinkering with gears, suspension, tyres or tactics.
Just hop in your vehicle and take risks to your heart's content.
Avoid log-jammed cars by centimetres, speed into oncoming traffic, do whatever you want.
The more risks you take, the more you pile on to your speed meter.
Eventually, your meter will be full and you'll be able to Burnout or drive around at a manic speed for a short period of time.
The problems from the first game have been addressed and this is now even more polished than before.
Tracks don't take ages to finish, the strict checkpoint times have been relaxed and the intelligence of the computer cars is more realistic.
It's a pure adrenalin rush.
And as a release from the speed freak stuff, there is a crash mode.
The object is to do exactly that cause as much damage as possible.
And the crash sequences look ultra realistic.
Add to that loads of cars and tracks to unlock and this game should keep you occupied for some considerable time.
It's fast, great to look at and shreds your nerves.
Go and buy it.
